SOMETHING DOMINATES EVERYONE’S DAY

Standard

What influences, dominates, and controls your day? Is it the daily news, the noisy neighbor, the memory of a failure?  Or is it God’s plan for you, His Word in your heart, a song of praise to Him?  Let the plan that God has for your life dominate your day, or something else will.

Mediocrity has its own type of intensity.  It wants to control you.  Mediocrity starts somewhere and leads to everywhere.  It can influence and affect every area of our lives if we let it.

Charles Spurgeon said, Some temptations come to the industrious, but all temptations attack the idle.”

A fruitful life is not an accident:  It is the result of right choices. Small mounds of dirt add up to a mountain.  If you are not alert to pray, the mountain can dominate your day.

  • When the news tries to dominate your day, let the good news dominate your day.
  • When the past tries to dominate your day, let your vision for the future dominate your day.
  • When fear tries to dominate your day, let right actions dominate your day.
  • When procrastination tries to dominate your day, let small steps dominate your day.
  • When wrong influences try to dominate your day, let the right associations dominate your day.
  • When confusion tries to dominate your day, let God’s Word dominate your day.
  • When loneliness tries to dominate your day, let prayer dominate your day.
  • When strife tries to dominate your day, let peace dominate your day.
  • When your mind tries to dominate your day, let the Holy Spirit dominate your day.
  • When envy tries to dominate your day, let blessing others dominate your day.
  • When greed tries to dominate your day, let giving dominate your day.

LET GOD DOMINATE YOUR DAY!
